SUSPECT: Anthony Eugene Walker (DOB 07/30/1989) Barstow resident   

SYNOPSIS: 

On Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at approximately 8:25 p.m., Barstow Police Department officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Maxine St. for a report of a fight.  The reporting party provided officers with the description of a subject, involved in the fight, who was in possession of a handgun. Officers encountered several subjects upon arriving at the location however the subject who reportedly had the gun was not located. 

On Thursday, May 21, 2015 at approximately 12:30 p.m. Corporal Jarell Gilmore and San Bernardino County Probation Officer Henry Ellison conducted a search at the home of PRCS probationer Anthony Walker, which is where the fight from the previous night had occurred. During a search of Walker’s residence, Cpl. Gilmore discovered a loaded handgun and a quantity of marijuana, along with several items of drug paraphernalia. It appeared the items were possessed with the intention for sales. Walker was subsequently arrested for the above listed charges and booked at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Jail in Barstow.
