On May 4, 2016, at approximately 5:40 A.M., the Barstow Police Department Dispatch Center received a call regarding a burglary alarm at 7 Days Liquor, located at 1001 East Williams Street. Officers responded to the location and upon arrival discovered that the store had been burglarized.
The investigating officers found the chain to the outer security door had been cut off and the inner door forced open. The stores video surveillance shows the suspects entered the store and stole several cartons of cigarettes and cash from the cash register. The suspects fled the scene in a dark colored pickup truck. Officers checked the surrounding area for the vehicle and suspects but met with negative results. The victim responded to the scene and estimated the loss to be approximately $3,100.00.
Barstow Police Department Evidence Technician Sabrina Ellis responded to the location and processed the scene for potential evidence.
