SUSPECT:                           Blanca Orozco, HFA, 20-Years-Old,

                                                Barstow Resident


VICTIM:                                 People of the State of California


CASE AGENT:                    Officer Ronan Colleoc



On January 9, 2018, at approximately 8:29 P.M., Barstow Police Dispatch Center received a call for service regarding a possible traffic collision in the 1800 block of Armory Road.


Officer Colleoc arrived at the incident location and learned that the driver of the vehicle, later identified as Blanca Orozco, failed to negotiate the left turn from eastbound Armory Road onto southbound Higgins Street.


The vehicle collided with a fence to a property located on the southeast portion of Armory Road, causing moderate damage to the fence and the vehicle.


Officer Colleoc contacted Orozco and observed that she displayed several objective signs of being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.


Upon further investigation, Officer Colleoc determined Orozco was driving her vehicle under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and placed her under arrest.


Officer Colleoc obtained a sample of Orozco’s blood for submission to the San Bernardino County Crime lab for analysis.


Orozco was transported to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Barstow Jail where she was booked for VC 23152(a)(b) – DUI.
