SUSPECT(S):                      Mark Lopez, 35-Year-Old, Barstow Resident

                                               

VICTIM(S):                            Phillip Peralta

                                                     

CASE AGENT:                    Officer Ronan Colleoc

                                                                                   

SUMMARY:

On January 17, 2018, at approximately 1:13 A.M., Barstow Police Dispatch Center received a call regarding a physical fight at the Pit Stop Bar, located in the 500 block of Victor Street.

 

Upon arrival, Officer Colleoc learned that the female bartender and a patron were engaged in a romantic manner when the bartender’s estranged husband, Mark Lopez, arrived at the bar and witnessed them together.

 

Lopez became upset and physically assaulted the victim causing a violent injury to his face and additional injuries to his back.  Officers placed Mark Lopez under arrest and transported him to the Barstow Police Department.

 

Lopez was subsequently booked at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Barstow Jail for the listed charges.
