The City of Barstow Park and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for Barstow Girl’s Softball. There are three divisions: Rookies for 6 (must be at least 6 years old by January 1, 2010) to 9-year-old girls; Minors for 10 to 12-year-old girls; and Majors for 13 to 16-year-old girls.

League fees are $70 per player. Tryout will be held on January 20, 2010, at the Robert A. Sessions Memorial Sportspark:

• Rookies 10 a.m. - Noon
• Minors  Noon - 2 p.m.
• Majors  2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Registration for the 2010 season of Barstow Girls Softball is currently being taken at Cora Harper Fitness Center, 841 Barstow Rd. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
