(City of Barstow – October 12, 2011)

The City of Barstow is kicking off the 2011 Fall Season with many programs and classes available to the community no matter what your age or interest! Many monthly programs are now available at the Cora Harper Fitness Center.

Youth Basketball is now taking registration until November 4th, for Grades 1 through 6. The games are scheduled to begin at the end of November. The cost is $45 per player.

A new addition to the Park and Rec lineup is Ballet and Tap for ages 3 to 8. This class is an introduction to the dance and will begin in November.

Aerobic Classes are available for adults. This class will be ongoing and held Monday through Thursday from 6pm to 7pm. The class is offered for $30 per month or at a reduced amount of $10 per month when a Gym Pass is purchased from the Cora Harper Fitness Center.

The Cora Harper Fitness Center has newly remodeled Cardio and Bike rooms! Come on down and take a look. Don’t forget to visit the Sportspark batting cages. Cages are open Monday through Friday from 4-8pm.
