To reserve any of the City’s Parks and Recreation facilities, the following general guidelines are provided:

• All reservations are on a first come first served basis
  
  
• Requests must be made using the Application for Use of Facilities form.
  Be specific as to what your needs are on the form.

• A fee will be assessed based on what is requested on the form.
  
  
• All fees must be paid 5 days prior to rental date.
  
  
• A Certificate of Insurance ($1 million per occurrence and $1 million in the aggregate) naming the City of Barstow must be on file 5 days prior to rental date. • A no fee waiver policy is in effect. All requests for waiver must be made to the City Manager and will be place on a future agenda for City Council review.
  
  
• The City attempts to accommodate all groups, however, there are a limited number of facilities. Unfortunately, the demand exceeds the supply. Therefore, the City has first priority for the use of the facilities. City retains the right to cancel approved Rental Agreement in order to accommodate City needs.
  
  
• Permission to use area/facilities is granted by permit only and users are subject to observance of all City regulations. Permits may be revoked for violation of any City regulation(s) by on-site City staff.
  
  
• Contracts may not be subleased without written authorization by the Community Services Director or his/her designee.
  
  
• Each application will be reviewed by the Community Services Manager, and/or designated staff for the purpose of assessing fees according to the Facility Use Fee Schedule and final approval.
  
  
• Applications will not be accepted from applicants with any outstanding balances past due.
