Notice Of Public Hearing for DIF 

 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Barstow will hold a public hearing before the CITY OF BARSTOW CITY COUNCIL to consider the adoption of development impact fees, as well as a nexus study describing the costs those fees will recover, pursuant to the Mitigation Fee Act. (Gov. Code, § 66000 et seq.)

The nexus study noted above, which includes the proposed development impact fees, is available on the City’s website at www.barstowca.org. Click HERE for full study.

 Any person wishing to comment on the proposed action may appear and be heard at the time and place noted above. Alternatively, any interested person may submit comments in writing by mail to the address below or by email to publiccomment@barstowca.org. All correspondence received before and during the meeting will be distributed to the City Council for consideration and retained for the official record. If this matter is challenged in court, the issues may be limited to those raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City at, or prior to, the public hearing.

 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, members of the public who need special assistance to participate in the hearing, by any method desired, should contact the City Clerk’s office at least 48 hours in advance to enable the City to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility.
